Malhão Pardo is a family estate in Turismo Rural — casas, a long table, and a pool that holds the evening light. Days begin with bread still warm and end under more stars than you remember existing.

Low white volumes sit lightly on the land, the way this region has always built — thick walls against the heat, blue shadow in the doorways, a pine holding the sky. Inside: linen, clay, timber. Nothing that shouts.

When is the best time to come? +
Every season argues its case. Spring for wildflowers, June for the cork harvest,
high summer for pool days and warm nights, autumn for the light, winter for fires and
near-total silence. The estate stays open all year.
Can we book the whole estate? +
Yes — for gatherings, weddings and retreats the twelve rooms and the Casa do
Monte take up to 30 guests. Write to us and we'll plan it properly.
Are children and dogs welcome? +
Children, always. Dogs, by arrangement in the Casa do Monte — the estate has
sheep for neighbours, so we plan it together.
How does dinner work? +
One seating at 20:00, one menu from what the garden and market gave us that
day. Tell us about allergies when you book; the kitchen takes them seriously.
